I'm 5'3" and ordered a size small. The fabric is the best part: the satin feels good, the color matches the photos, and the lace hem is pretty.
The problem is the structure. The dress relies on fit to work, and on me it doesn't. The bodice is boxy and loose, the cowl neckline doesn't drape like the model's, and creates a visible seam where it seems like the top meets the skirt. Pulling up the side drawstring helped (compare my before and after photos), but even adjusted it doesn't shape or accentuate the body the way the listing shows. With a better cut this would be a really nice dress, but as is, I'm returning it.
