This *is* semi-sheer, key word being SEMI. In the sunlight, the shape of your legs will be seen through the garment. Your underwear, rest assured, not so much as long as it's skin tone. This skirt feels like a dream- so lightweight- and looks like one too. It's a gorgeous skirt and I received many compliments while wearing it. 5'3" 110# & length is fine for full-length skirt, or waistband can be folded over comfortably and invisibly to make it slightly shorter. Got the S, which is fine, but could've probably gone with XS as well.
